Reflexology Treatments
A holistic, non-invasive treatment used to promote deep relaxation and rebalance emotional health and overall general well-being. A relaxing treatment which involves applying pressure to specific reflex points and zones on the feet, which within reflexology is understood to correspond with specific areas of the body. The pressure is applied by fingers, thumbs and knuckles, and treatment is available for both men and women of all ages to assist with the stress of many ailments. Every treatment is tailored to each individual’s needs.

Maternity Reflexology
A non-invasive and relaxing treatment, used safely during all three trimesters of pregnancy. Reflexology is used to nurture both mum-to-be and baby on an emotional and spiritual level throughout the pregnancy journey. It promotes deep relaxation and a sense of balance and well-being.

Reflexology during the pregnancy journey can help prepare the mind for both labour and birth. There are many reflex points to assist in “priming” for labour, encouraging relaxation and the promotion of emotional well-being. This treatment is usually at the end of third trimester (this is not used to induce labour or as an alternative, as this is the decision only made by your lady midwife or consultant).
I am also qualified in the use of aromatherapy for childbirth.

Prior to trying for a baby, a pre-conception plan is a great choice to consider. It takes 3 months for every egg and sperm to mature. As the journey can often be emotionally demanding, pre-conception reflexology may be a great option as a part of your plan, as it promotes relaxation, re-balance emotions, and improves general
well-being.
Reflexology can assist both you and your partner, both emotionally and spiritually, when trying to conceive. Treatments promote deep relaxation which may support the relief of stress, anxiousness and emotional blockages that are commonly associated when trying to conceive both naturally and assisted. Each treatment plan will be tailored to suit your specific needs as an individual or couple.

Pre-Conception Reflexology
Hand and arm reflexology can be used as an alternative to feet, the exact same aspects apply to the hands - using pressure at reflex points and zones. The body is understood to be mapped out on the hands, as like the feet: right and left.
Stimulation to these reflex points may unblock energy channels and create balance and overall wellbeing to the whole self, mind, and spirit.

Hand & Arm Reflexology
A holistic non-invasive treatment, where gentle pressure is applied to different reflex points and zones, by using stroking movements. The reflex points are understood to relate to specific areas of the body.

Facial reflexology offers the same benefits as foot reflexology in promoting deep relaxation and assisting in the relief of stress and anxiety.

Facial Reflexology
Auricular (Ear) Reflexology
A combination of ancient Chinese medicine and auriculotherapy (this is a therapy developed by Dr Paul Nogier in the 1950s). The ear is an effective area to treat with reflexology as there are over 10,000 nerve endings in the ear. Unlike the feet/hands, where the body is understood to be mapped on the left and right sides, the entire body is merged on the ear. Stimulation by the fingers and thumbs to specific points on the outer ear is understood to correspond to specific points in the body, creating balance to that area and relieving blockage of energy.
This treatment can be booked as a standalone treatment or easily added on to face reflexology or IHM treatments, since it has a short duration but is very simple and effective.

Hot Stone Reflexology
Hot stones can be incorporated into a reflexology treatment to
further enhance the benefits of the treatment. It is estimated that
one stroke of a hot stone is worth ten strokes with the hand!

The heat helps to relax the muscles in the feet allowing deeper work into the reflex areas. It is warming, deeply relaxing & soothing helping to melt away any tension or anxiety, helping to bring about a balance of body as well as mind.
Hot Stones are used throughout the treatment allowing the heat to work the reflex areas and points rather than the therapist’s fingers and thumbs.
(The temperature of the Hot Stones are regulated to ensure that they are kept at the correct temperature before being applied to the foot or leg.)
